The cottage is on the beautiful west side of the island. From the screened-in porch you can sit and enjoy the fantastic mountain views and sunsets.

The kitchen and living areas give you all the comforts of home. A newly-remodeled kitchen with all the necessities includes a microwave, dishwasher, gas stove, and refrigerator. The open area allows for dining at the kitchen bar or the comfort of a sit down dining room table. Of course, on a beautiful Maine evening most prefer the seating and views of the lake from the equally comfortable carpeted screened-in porch.

For the cold spring and fall evenings, the cottage is also equipped with a new wall heating unit in the living area. 

The Comerford Cottage comfortably sleeps 8 people with two full beds and two sets of bunks. The bathroom is also newly remodeled with a shower/tub, pedestal sink and toilet. The cottage is stocked with an abundance of blankets to keep you warm, even on the coolest summer night, but you will need to bring your own sheets and towels.

Beautiful Sunsets

Beach Lakeside Deck
The cottage is equipped with a beautiful lakeside deck for sunbathing or just sitting to waste the day away. The beach is a beautiful but pebbly area which may require water shoes for added comfort. The island also has 12 association beaches, the nicest is a short walk away or simply a drive up the road from the cottage. A beautiful sandy beach in a cove with an excellent swimming/play area for children of all ages!
